ZONING ORDINANCEj,AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP ATTACHED THERETO.
AND MADE A, PART - THEREOF. (Frank- It, Bandy)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No.147 of the City
of West Covina, entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONES IN THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, AND THEREIN REGULATING THE USE OF LAND, HEIGHT
• OF BUILDINGS AND YARD SPACES; ADOPTING A ASAP SHOWING THE BOUNDARIES
OF SAID ZONES; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING
FOR ITS ADJUSTXENTj AMEDNXENT AND ENFORCEMENT; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES"
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH", adopted February 5, 19489 . be . and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto, as a part of the zoning map of
the City of West Covina, the following:
Lots I to 15 inclusive of Tract No.20394
(Tentative) in the City of,West.'Covina,
County of Los Angelest State. of California,
EXCEPTING thatportionin Tract N0.19612
be and the same is hereby excepted from the particular zone in which
such real property has otherwise been placed and designated by the
provisions of this,section, and all such property and territory is
-hereby granted a variance in accordance with the provisions of Section
14 of said Ordinance No.147 so as toestablishas a part of Zone R-2
Lot 8, And as part of Zone R-3'Lots 1 to 7 and 9 to 15 inclusive,
all in proposed Tract No,*'20394'1 located northwest of Stuart Avenue
and Pima Avenue, in the City ofWestCovina, under the provisions of
said Ordinance No.147.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption
of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days

from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be posted with
the names of the members voting for and against the same in three
places within the City, in the manner required by the laws and
ordinances in the City of West Covina, and thirty (30) days from
and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force.
