ZONING ORDINANCE,.AND CHANGING THE ZONING„MAP ATTACHED.THERETO_
AND-MADR A'. PART THEREOF'(S.L.Seymour)._
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 07 WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That= Section..'3' of Ordinance No:147 .of *the City
of West Covina-; entitled "AN'ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONES IN THE
CITY OF WEST .COVIIdA, AND THEREIN REGUI:ATI'
NG THE US. E OF LAND, HE..IGHT
OF BUILDINGS AND`YARD'SPACES- ADOPTING A MAP.SHOWING THE BOUNDARIES
OF SAID ZONES; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING
FOR ITS ADJUSTMENT, AMENDMENT AND ENF'ORCEMEI►TT; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THUMTH", adopted January 21, 1954, be and the same is
herby amended by adding thereto, as a part of the zoning map of the
City of West Covina, the following:.
That certain real property'in the City of West Covina,
County of Los Angeles, State of California., and -more
particularly described as-:
All of Lots -6 and 7, Block 27, Phillips- Tract-, Book 9,
Pages 3-and-4-of Miscellaneous Records of . Los Angeles
County (except portions within Garvey Boulevard area),
also identified -as Tentative Tract- No.20181,
• be -'and -the -same -is hereby-- excepted from- the -particular zone in which
such real property -has --otherwise been placed -and -designated by the
provisions -of this section; and all such property -and -territory is
hereby- granted --a- variance in accordance with -the .provisi-ons of Section
14 of said Ordinance•No.147 so -as to establish as a part of Zone R-3
Lots 1929-45 -to 6.1 inclusive and as part of -Zone R-1 Lots 3 to- 44
inclusive, all in proposed Tract No.201811 located on the north side of

Garvey Boulevard, west of Citrus Street, under the provisions of
said Ordinance No,.147.
SZCTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify as to -the -adoption
of this- Ordinance, and- prior to -the expiration,,of fifteen- (15) days
from -the- passage thereof-, shall cause the same to6 be, posted. with the
names of- the -members- voting for- and -against the same --in- three places
• within -the- City, in- th -, manner required by the- laws and ordinances
in the- City of, West Covina, and, thirty -(30) days from and after the
final passage thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.
