Ordinance - 307ORDINANCE No.307 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING.A MODIFICATION.OF THE PRECISE.PLAN HERETOFORE ADOPTED -FOR THE.DEVELOPMENT.OF.CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN SAID CITY, AND..AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.147 OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the precise plan for the development of certain properties in said City, to wit, the area bounded on the north by -Garvey Boulevard, on the southeast by Glendora Avenue, • on the south by Walnut Creek Wash and on the west by the .extension southerly of Vincent Avenue, heretofore approved and adopted by the provisions of Ordinance No.248 of the City of West Covina, adopted May 11,1953, as amended, be and the same is hereby modified and amended in accordance with and as shown on that certain map or plan attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof and which certain map or plan provides for the development of a designed commercial district or area at and upon the following described real property, to wit: Those portions of Lots 168 and 169 of the E.J.Baldwints Fourth Subdivision, in the City.of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, -as shown on map recorded in Book 8 at Page 186 of Maps, on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: • Those portions lying-Sautherly- of the Southerly extension from Garvey Boulevard of Vincent Avenue, 100 feet wide, of the North- easterly 259.6 feet of said Lot 168, as measured along the Northwesterly right-of-way line of Glendora Avenue 60 feet wide, and the Southwesterly 379.45 feet of said Lot 169, as measured along the Northwesterly right-of-way line of the afore- said Glendora Avenue Subject, however, to the inclusion in said map or plan of the service roads along Vincent Avenue and Glendora Avenue, as shown -1- and indicated upon the aforesaid precise plan, and provided further that the future street adjacent to the Walnut Creek Wash as indicated thereon be eliminated. SECTION 2. That the foregoing modiciation and amendment of the Official Precise Plan is made pursuant to the provisions of Section 14, Paragraph A, subparagraph 1 (c) of Ordinance • No.147 of the City of West Covina, known as the Zoning Ordinance, adopted January 21,1948, as amended, following public hearings by and before the City Planning Commission andthe City Council in accordance with the requirements of the law applicable thereto. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be posted with the names of the members voting for and against the same, in three places within the City, in the manner required by the laws and ordinances in the City of West Covina, and thirty (30) days from and after the passage thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force. ----� __ �- ATTES : Mayor' f the City of est Covina City Clerk I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,held on the 12th day of April, 1954, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen,to wit: AYES: Councilmen BERT C. West Garvey Boulevard, one in front of the West Covina School House, and one at the northwest corner of Puente S et and Lark Ellen Boulevard.
