AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY E P WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, CIL'1NGING THE
NAIM OF A PORTION OF' A CERTAIN PUBLIC SMEET ENOWN AS SERVICE AVENUE
AND CORTEZ STI&ET, EXTENDING IN A GENERAL EASTERLY DIRECTION FROM
A JUNCTION WITH AZUSA AIPENUE IN SAID CITY AND ES`I'ABLISIIING THE SAME
AS CO 'TEZ STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the name of that certain public street now
known as and denominated Service Avenue and Cortez Street, extending
in a general easterly direction from a junction with Azusa Avenue
in the City of West Covina, be and the same is hereby changed to
Cortez Street and that the name of the entire public street as here-
inabove described be and the same is hereby fixed and established
as'Cortez Street.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from
the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be posted with the names
of the members voting for and against the same in three places within
the city, and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage
thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force in the manner
required by the laws and ordinances in the City of West Covina.
