'AN OPIDII'TANCE OP THE CITY OF NEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, CLASSIFY-
ING CERTAIN MEAL PROPERTY FOR ZONING PURPOSES AND ESTABLISHING
SAID PROPERTY IN ZONE R - 2 OF SAID CITY AS DEFINED IN ORDINANCE
NO. 147 OF SAID CITY. (FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF' WEST COVINA). ✓
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the written request of the owners
• of the hereinafter described real property, and upon the recom-
mendation of the Planning Commission of the City of West Covina,
said real property is hereby changed from Zone R - 1 and re-
established as a district in Zone R - 2 under the provisions
of Ordinance No. 147 of the City of West Covina, known as the
Zoning Ordinance, adopted January 21, 1948; and from and after
the effective date of this ordinance said real property shall
become and be a portion of the district as herein indicated.
Said real property and the zone into which it is hereby reclas-
sified and re-established is more particularly described as
follows:
The westerly 483 feet of the easterly 645 feet of Lots
222 and 227 of E. J. Baldwin's Fifth Subdivision of a
• portion of Rancho La Puente, as per map recorded in
Hook 12, pages 134 and 135 of Maps, records in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
changed from Zone R - 1 to Zone R - 2.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15)
days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be
posted with the names of the members voting for and against the
same in three places within the city, and thirty (30) days
from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force in the manner required by the
laws and ordinances in the City of West Covina.,
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at aregular meeting of the City Council of the City of Nest
Covina on the 13th day of August, 1952, by the affirmative vote
of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
