AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF'WEST COVINA
APPROVING THE ANNEXATION T09 INCORPORATING
IN AND MAKING A PART OF SAID CITY OF WEST
COVINA CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY OUTSIDE
OF SAID CITY AND CONTIGUOUS THERETO, KNOWN
AS "WEST COVINA ANNEXATION NO. 102."
WHEREAS, --the City Council of the City -of West
Covina did on the 28th day of June, 1950, receive
a verified written petition signed by not less than
• one-fourth of the owners of the area of land rep-
resenting not less than one-fourth of the assessed
value of such territory according to the last
preceding equal12ed: assessment roll of the County
of Los Angeles; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council -did at a regular meeting
held on the 28th day of June, 1950, adopt a
resolution giving notice of such proposed annexation,
which resolution specifically described the boundaries
of the territory so proposed to be annexed to the City
of West Covina, designating the same as "West Covina
Annexation No. 102," and
WHEREAS, said'Resolution was -duly published
according to law, by posting a copy of the said
• Resolution in three conspicuous places in the said
territory, giving notice of the day and hour and place
when and where any person owning real property within
said territory so proposed to be annexed and having
any objection to the proposed annexation, might appear
before the City Council of the City of West Covina
and show cause why such territory should not be
annexed, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West
Covina set the date of such hearing not less than
fifteen, nor more than forty days from the date _ of
the passage of such Resolution, to wit.- the 26th
day of July, 1950; and
77HEREAS, on the 26th day of July, 1950, said
matter duly came before the City Council of the City
of West Covina for -hearing, and,no persons filed
against the proposed annexation,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of 'Nest Covina do ordain as follows:

Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939," more par-
ticularly Section 35317 of the Government Code,
there was filed in this office:
A copy of Ordinance No. 196 of
the City of West Covina'as passed by
the City Council on the 6th day of
December, 1950, certified by the
City Clerk of.said City.
I further certify that said Ordinance No. 196
sets forth approval of the annexation to the City
of West Covina of certain uninhabited territory
described therein and designated as:
"West Covina Annexation No. 102."
