The City Council of the City of 'Nest Covina
doe & ordain as follows :
Section 1. Ordinance No. 142, entitled
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UIEEST COVINI PROVIDING
• FOR THE LICENSING OF 1,11HOLESALE AND 'DETAIL BUSINESS,
TRAUES AND OCCUPATIONS CARRI�:D ON IN SAID CITY,
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE'.',1ITH"
is hereby amended to read as follows;
Section 50. For the business of conducting
a 1.2otel whereTooms are rented by the day, week,
or month, the sum of $24.00 per annum, or fraction
thereof,, where said Motel has six (6) units or less.
For each additional unit over and above the number
of six units, the sum of $2.50 per unit, per annum,
or fraction thereof..
Section 2.. Ordinances of the City of 'Ale st
Covina inconsistent with the provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
• Section 3.. The City Clerk shall certify to
the passage of this Ordinance and the same shall
become effective thirty days after its passage and
before the expiration of fifteen days after its
passage it shall be posted with the names of the
members voting for and against the same, in three
places within the city, in the manner required by
the lairs and ordinances of the City of !lest Covina.
