AN. ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER ,L47.
The City Council of the City of IvIlest Covina do ordain
as f ollo*ojs:,
SECTION 1: Section 3 of Ordinance No. 147, entitled
".4111 ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONES IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
AND THEREIN REGULATING THE USE OF LAND, HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS
AND YARD SPACES: ADO?,TING A hrAk SHO'�',IING THE BOUNDARIES OF
SAID ZONES: DEFINING THE, TERMIS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE ;:
PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES
OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH") adopted
January 21, 1948, i-s hereby amended by adding thereto, as a
part of the Zoning !lap of the City of West Covina, Section
3.1 and Subsection (d) of Section 3.1, to read as follows:
3.1. Changes in the boundaries and classifications Of
the Zoning lvTap of the City of I.Alest Covina:,
(d) Each respective portion of the territory shown on
1Iap I'd" hereinafter set forth in this subsection be, and the
same is, hereby excepted from the particular zone in which
such respective portion thereof has otherwise been placed and
designated by the 'provisions of this Ordinance, and each such
resp:pctive portion of said territory is hereby placed in and
designated as the particular zone hereinafter slaown on said
map; provided, further, that no such portion of such territory
shall be deemed to be so excepted from any such zone unless a
zone designation is -placed within the boundaries of such por-
tion of such territory as shown on said 1d1ap I'd".
SEECTION2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after the date of its adoption, and prior to the expir-a-
tion of fifteen days from the passage hereof shall be published
once in the ViVest Covina Tribune, a newspaper printed and pub--
lished in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State
of .,alifcrnia.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
