AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 31, ENTITLED
'IAN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION IN THE
CITY OF WEST COVIN;A, OF ZONES CONSISTING OF VARIOUS
DISTRICTS AND PRESCRIBING THE CLASSES OF BUILDINGS,
STRUCTURES, AND IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SAID SEVERAL
ZONES AND THE USES THEREOFn BY ADDING THERETO
A NEW SECTION TO BE NUMBERED SECTION 24.
The City Council of the City of West Covina do
ordain as follows.,-
• SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 31, entitled "An Ordinance
providing; for the creation in the City of West Covina, of zones
consisting of various districts and prescribing the classes of
buildings, structures and improvements in the said several zones,
and the uses thereof', is hereby amended by adding thereto a new
section to be numbered Section 24, and to read as follows:
SECTION 24: The following described portion of the
City of West Covina is hereby created as and declared to be in
the B zone::
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 26, Tract No. 14681 in
the City of West Covina.
and it shall be lawful to erect and maintain thereon &:.Church
in accordance with plans and specifications filed herewith.
No other commercial use shall be made of.the premises.
DEFINITIONS:
(a) For the purpose of this Ordinance the term
"Church"'shall mean a building wherein religious meetings are
held, but shall exclude temporary revival meetings held within
or outside of a building.

NEW SECTION TO BE NUMBERED SECTION 2411, in three public places
in said City, to -wit: one at the Police Office, 361 West Garvey
Blvd., one in front of the West Covina School House and one at the
Northwest corner of Puente Street and Lark Ellen Blvd.
