AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
ESTABLISHING THE TAX RATE FOR TIE YEAR
1947-1948.
The City Council of the City of West Covina do ordain as
follows:
Section I. That it is hereby declared and determined
that the sum of . mo. will be required to pay the
cost and expense �taii nag the City of nest Covina during
the fiscal year 1947-48.
Section E. That in order to raise the aforesaid sum
there shall be and is hereby levied on each $100.90 of taxable
property in said City of 'Vest Covina, a tax of,,,
S) cents.
Section 3. That the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Los Angeles be and it is hereby requested to levy
a tax for the fiscal year of 1947-1948 upon all property in,
the City of West Covina, at the rate hereinbefore set forth,
for the purpose of paying the cost and expense of mai0taining
the said City during the fiscal year.
Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of West Covina
shall certify to the passage of this ordnance and cause the
same to be posted in three public places in said City.

of Ordinance No. 146 ol the City of West Covina, entitled "An
Ordinance of the City of West Covina establishing the tax
rate -for the year 1947-1948" in three public places in said
City, to -wit: one at the police office, 361 West Garvey
Boulevard, one in front of the West Covina School House, and
one at the northwest corner of Puente Street and Larkellen
Boulevard,
