AN ORDINANCE AIbIENDING ORDINANCE NO. 31, ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION IN TIm
CITY OF :'EST COVINA, OF ZONES CONSISTIIJG OF VAR-
IOUS DISTRICTS AND PRESCRIBING THE CLASSES OF
BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND IMPROVEMENTS IN THE
SAID SEVERAL ZONES AND THE USES THEREOF BY ADDING
THERETO A NEW SECTION, TO BE NUMBERED SECTION 28.
The City Council of the City of West Covina do ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 31, entitled "An Ordinance
providing for the creation in the City of "`hest Covina, of zones
consisting of various districts and prescribing the cl'asses
of buildings, structures and improvements in the said several
abnes, and the uses thereof," is hereby amended by adding
thereto a new section to be numbered Section 23, and to read
as follows:
SECTION 23. The following described portion of the
City of West Covina is hereby created as and declared to be
in the B zone.
That portion of Lot 112 of E. J. Baldwin's 4th
Subdivision of the Rancho LaRuente in the City -of
Est Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
fornia, as shown on Map recorded in Book 8, page
186 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County, described as follows;
Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of
land acquired by the State of California as described.
in Deed recorded in Book 17828 page.165 of Official
Records in the Office of said County Recorder, dis-
tant North 830 16' 35" East along said southerly
line 325 feet from the Easterly line of Tract No.
12907 as said Easterly line is shown on Map recorded
in Book 244 Pages 16 and 17 of Maps in the Office
of said County Recorder; thence continuing along- said
Southerly line North 830 16' 35" East 50 feet; thence
parallel with said Easterly line South 60 43' 25"
East 225 feet; thence parallel with said Southerly
line South 830 16' 35" West 50 feet; thence Forth
60 43' 25" West 225 feet to the poiht of beginning.
and it shall be lawful to erect and maintain thereon a motor
court in accordancet frith plans and specifications filed here-
with. No other commercial use of the land is hereby permitted,
and no other commercial use shall be made of the premises.

three public places in said city, to -wit: one at the Police Of-
fice, 361 West Garvey Boulevard, one in front of the idlest Covina
School House, and one at the Northwest corner of Puente
