A,N ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 31, EN-
TITLED RAN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CREA-
TION IN -THE CITY OF VEST COVINA, OF ZONES
CONSISTING OF VARIOUS DISTRICTS AND PRESCRIB-
ING THE CLASSES OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SAID SEVERAL ZONES, AND THE
USES THEREOF" by AMENDING -A NEW SECTION, 5j(c),
ADDED BY ORDINANCE NO* 116.
The City Council of the City of West Covina do
ordain as follows:
SECTION I: Ordinance No. 31, entitled, "An Ordinance
providing for the creation in the City of West Covina, of
zones consisting of vatious districts and prescribing the
classes of buildings, structures and improvements in the
said several zones and the uses thereof" is hereby amended
as follows:
SECTION 5j(c) of said Ordinance No. 31., amended by
Ordinance No. 1169 is hereby amended as follows:
Fees for checking plans for residence, business;buil-
dings or other structures - - - - - - - - - - - - -shall be
one-half of the building permitAee for such residence, buil-
ding, or other structures.
-I hereby cart a that the foregoing ordinance was
introduced on the day of May, 1947, and was passed by
the City Council and signed by the Mayor of said City and at-
tested by me, City C1 all at a regular meeting of said
council held on the -day of May, 1947, and that the same
was passed by the following vote:

CAREY S. HALL, being first duly sworn, says: That
he is the City Clem of the City of Wiest Covina, and that
on the day of May, 1947, he posted three copies of Or-
dinance No. /ofmthe City of Pest Covina, entitled "An
Ordinance pro ding for the creation in the City of West
Covina, of Zones consisting of various districts and pro-
scribing the classes of buildings., structures, and improve-
ments in the said several zones, and the uses thereof" by
amending a new section, 51(c) added by Ordinance No. 1169
to -wit: one in front of the Nest Covina School House; one
at the City Hall, 361 West Garvey Boulevard, and one at the
northwest corner of Puente Street and Larkellen Boulevard.
