The City Council of the City of ?hest Covina do ordain as follows: SECTION 1:: Ordinance No. 31, entitled "An Ordinance providing for the creation in the City of West Covina, of zones consisting of various districts and prescribing the classes of building, struct- ures and improvements in the said several zones, and the uses thereof", is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section to be numbered Section 22, and to read as follows: SECTION 22: The following described portion of the City of West Covina is hereby crea:te'd3. as and declared to be in the B zone: Lot Al ------Tract 14681 in the City of West Covina. and it shall be lawful to erect and maintain thereo.•a Land office, a Food Store, and a Gasoline Service Station in accordance with plans and specifications filed herewith. No other commercial use shall be made of the premi.ses. DEFINITIORiS: (a) For the purpose of this Ordinance the term "Land Office" is de- fined to be a building or portion thereof where transactions for the exchange of land are conducted and the records for such purpose are kept. (b) The tern "Food Store" is defined to be a building or portion thereof • wherein food for human use is offered for sale at retail to the public for consumption at a. place other than such Food Store. (c) The term "Gasoline Service Station" shall embrace any lot, premises or building, or any portion thereof used for the purpose of furnishing gasoline, ~rotor oil, petroleu�,i, grease, tires, and automobile storage batteries at -retail to automobiles or _rotor vehicles of the public in the open air. !Mayor of the City of West Covina Page 1.
