lUq ORDIrr2,.NCE OF ``HE CITY OF IVES`1' COVINA ESTABLISHING THE TAX RATE
FOR THEi YEAR 1946-1947.
The City Council of the City of ffest Covina do ordain as follows;
Sec 1 That it is hereby declared and determined that the sum of
10,372.00 will be required to pay the cost and expense of main-
tain.ing the City of West Covina during the fiscal year 1946-1947.
Sec. 2 That in order to raise the aforesaid sum there shall be'and
is hereby levied on each �100.00 of taxable property in said City
of West Covina, a tax of thirty five (35) cents.
t Sec. 3 That the Board of Supervision of the Co. of L.A. be and it is
hereby requested to levey a tax for the fiscal year 1946-1947 upon
all property in the City of Nest Covina, at the rate hereinbefore
set forth for the purpose of paying the cost and expense of main-
taining the said city during the fiscal year.
Sec. 4 The City Clerk of the City of *pest Covina shall certify to he
passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be Posted in three
public placers in ,aid City.

I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was introduced on the
28th day of August 1946 and was passed by the City Council and signed
by the Mayor of said City and attested by he City Clerk all at a
regular meeting of said Council held on the 28th day -of August 1946
