ORDINANCE NO. 111.
• THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of West Covina do ordain as
follows;
Sec. 1: That it is hereby declared and determined that
the sum of 9,400.00 will be required to pay the cost and
expense of maintaining the City of West Covina during the fiscal
year 1945-46.
Sec. 2: That in order to raise the aforesaid sum there
shall be and is hereby levied on each One Hundred Dollars (,y100.00)
of taxable property in the said City of 'Jest Covina, a tax of
Thirty-five (35) cents.
Sec. 3: That the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Los Angeles be and it is hereby requested to levy a tax for the
• fiscal year of 1945-46 upon all property in the City of West
Covina, at the rate hereinbefore set forth for the purpose of
paying the cost and expense of maintaining the said City during
the.fiscal year.
Sec. 4: The City Clerk of the City of .West Covina
shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same
to be posted in three public places in said City. �% D

I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was intro-
duced on the 8th day of August , 1945 and was passed by the City
Council and signed by the mayor of said City and attested by the
city clerk, all at a regular meeting of said council, held on the
gthday of August 1945 and that the same was passed by the
