ORDINANCE NO. 96
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 66, ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE PROVIDING HEALTH AND SANITARY REGULATIONS
IN 7"HE CITY OF WEST COVINA. THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE
KNOWN AS THE SANITARY, HEALTH AND FOOD CODE OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA.
The City Council of the City of West Covina do ordain as
follows:
Section 1: Ordinance No. 66 entitled, "An Ordinance providing
Health and. Sanitary Regulations in the City of West Covina. This
Ordinance shall be known as the Sanitary, Health and Food Code of the
City of West Covina," is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section
to be numbered Section 97, and to read as follows:
Section 97: That any person, firm or corporation violating any
of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and. upon conviction thereofshall be punishable by a fine
of not less that ten dollars ( 10.00)�nor more than three hundred
dollars (4300,00), or by imprisonment for a period of not less than
two (2) days nor more than three (3) months, or by both such fine
and imprisonment. Each such person, firm or corporation shall be
deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day during any portion
of which any violation of any provision of this Ordinance is committed,
continued or permitted by such person, firm or corporation, and shall
be punishable therefor as provided by this Ordinance.
