ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE
TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1942-1943,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That it is hereby declared and determined
• that the sum of $6738.95 will be required to pay the cost
• and expense of maintaining the City of West Covina during
the fiscal year 1942-1943.
SECTION 2. That om order to raise the aforesaid sum,
there shall be and is hereby levied on each One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars of taxable property, in the said City of
West Covina a tax of Thirty Cents (.30)
SECTION #3. That the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Dos Angeles be and it is hereby requested to levy a tax
for the fiscal year of 1942-1943 upon all property in the

City of West Covina, at the rate herein before set forth,
for the purpose of paying the cost and expense of main-
tai ni ng the said City during the fiscal year.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of West Covina
• shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause
• the same: to be posted in three public places in said City.
