AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 31
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
CREATION IN THE CITY CF WEST COVINA, OF
ZONES CONSISTING OF VARIOTTS DISTRICTS .AND
PRESCRIBING THE CLASSES OF BUILDINGS,
STRUCTURES AND IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SAID
SEVERAL ZONES, AND THE USES THEREOF" BY
ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION TO BE

The City Council of the City of West Covina do ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 31, entitled an ordinance providing
for the creation in the City of West Covina of zones consistipg
of various districts and prescribing the classes of buildings,
structures and improvements in the said several zones, and the
uses thereof" is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section
to be numbered Section 15, and. to read as follows;
The following described portion of the City of West Covina
is hereby created as and. declared to be in the B zone;
That portion of Lot 4 of the 576.50 Acre Tract, known as W.R.-
Rowland Tract, in the City of West Covina., County of Los Angeles, State
of California as per map recorded in Book 42, Page 45 of Miscellaneous
Records of said County, described as follows;. -
Beginning at a point in the center line of Arroyo Drive, as shown on
map in Case No.269877 Superior Court of said County, distant thereon
North SS 561 30" West 261.32 feet from the intersection thereof with
the center line of Vincent Avenue; thence continuing along said center
line North, 88°56t 30" West 195 feet to a point in the Southerly
prolongation Of the Easterly line of the land bonveyed to Austin L.
Crites and. wifg recorded in Book 15212 Page 64'of Official Records;
thence North 4 491 East along said Southerly prolongation and along
the Easterly line of said land a distance of 519.41 feet to the
Northeasterly corner.,thereof, thence South 99°311, East, a distance
of 155.15 feet to a point on a line bearing North`'.f),49 1 East from
the point of beginning; thence South 4 491 West, along said line
521.27,feet to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom the
• Southerly 50 feet thereof included within the line of Arroyo Drive.
And it shall be lawful to erect and maintain thereon a. building
to be used as a restaurant, said building to conform with the
plans.and specifications on file with the City Council of the
City of West Covina, and to use and operate therein the equipment
necessary to operate said restaurant.
