ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE
TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1941-1942
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS: - ^�
SECTION 1. That it is hereby declared and determined
that the sum of $6489.71 will be required to pay the cost
and expense of maintaining the City of West Covina during
the fiscal year 1941-1942.
SECTION 2. That in order to raise the aforesaid sum,
there shall be and is hereby levied on each One Hundred
($100.00), Dollars of taxable property, in the said City of
West Covina'a tax of Thirty Cents (S.30).
SECTION j. .,That the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Los Angeles be and it is hereby requested to levy a tax
for the fiscal year -of 1941--1942 upon all property in the
City of West Covina, at the rate hereinbefore set forth,
for the purpose of paying the cost and expense,:7of main-
taining the said City during the fiscal year.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of West Covina
shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause
• ■ the same to be posted in three public places in said City.

certify that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted by the City Council
of the City of West Covina at a regular meeting of said Council
on July 39, 1941, and signed by the Mayor of said City, and that
said Ordinance was adopted by the following votes;
Ayes: L. Reeg, J.K. Hedges, C.P. Kendall, C.I. Batchelder and
A.H. Robinson.

of the City of West Eovina,, entitle-d_g.AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX
RATE FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1941-194261, in
three public places in said. City, to -wit; one in front of the
West Covina School House, one at 1843 West State Highway, the same
being the place where the regular meetings of the City Council of
the said City are held, and one at the Northwest corner of Puente
Street and Lark Ellen Boulevard.
