AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.31
ENTITLED 1' AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
CREATION IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, OF
ZONES CONSISTING OF VARIOUS DISTRICTS AND
PRESCRIBING THE CLASSES OF BUILDINGS,
STRUCTURES AND IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SAID
SEVERAL ZONES, AND THE USES THEREOF" BY
ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION TO BE NUMBERED
SECTION 110 -
The City Council of the City of West Covina do ordain as
follows.:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 31, entitled "An Ordinance
providing for the creation in the City of.West Covina of zones
consisting of various -districts and prescribing the classes of
buildings, structures and improvements in the said several
zones, and the uses thereof' is hereby amended by adding
thereto a new section to be numbered Section No. 11, and to
read as follows:
The following described portion of the City of West Covina
is #ereby created as and declared to be.in the B zone.
Description of 150$ by 150' parcel lying within the Bast half
of . Lot 4, Block 29 of the Phillips Tract.
Beginning at a point 100' Westerly from the East line of Lot
4, and 310t Southerly from the center line of Workman Ave; thence
Westerly parallel with Workman Avenue 1501; thence Southerly
parallel with the said Easterly line of Lot'4 150E; thence
Easterly.,150' parallel with Workman Avenue; thence Northerly
1501 parallel with the said Easterly line of Lot 4 to the point
of beginning; ' -
and it shall be lawful to erect and maintain thereon a building
for the manufacture of mattresses to conform with the plans and
specifications on file with the 'City Council of the City of West
Covina and to use and operate therein the equipment necessary
to carry on said business.

I hereby certify tha the foregoing ordinance was introduced
on the day of 1941, and was passed by the City
Council and signed by the Mayor of said City, and attested by me
City Clerk, all at a regular meeting of said County, held on the
8th day of January, 1941, and that the same was passed by the
