ORDINANCE NO. 82
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 31
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
CREATION IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, OF
;ZONES CONSISTING OF VARIOUS DISTRICTS AND
PRESCRIBING THE CLASSES OF BUILDINGS,
STRUCTURES AND IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SAID
SEVERAL ZONZS, AND THE USES THER - OF" BY
ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION TO BE NUMBERED
SECTION 11.
The City Council of the City of West Covina do ordain as
follows:
SA TION 2: Ordinance No. 31, entitled �.An Ordinance
pr-oviding for the creation 1n the City of West Covina, of zones
consisting of various districts and prescribing the classes of
buildings, structures and improvements in the said several
zones, and the uses thereof", is hereby amended by adding
thereto anew section to be numbered -Section No. la, and to read
as follows
SECTION l3: The following described portion of the City
of West.,Covina is hereby created as and declared to be in the
#.,..zone
That'pQrtion of Lot 1, Tract No.2371, City of West Covina,
State of alifornia as per map recorded in Book 23, pages 98
and 99 of maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said
Los Angeles County.
and it shall be lawful. to erect and maintain thereon a
Restaurant to conform the plans and specifications on file
with the City Couha it of the City of West Covina and to use
operate therein such equipment as shall be necessary to
carry on said restaurant.

Clerk of the City of West Covina, and is a citizen of the United
States`.and over the age of twenty-one years: that on the 2nd day
of August 1940, he posted three copies of Ordinance No. 82 of the City
of West Covina, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.31 ENTITLED XN' ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
CREATION IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA' OF ZONES CONSISTING OF VARIOUS
DISTRICTS AND PRESCRIBING THE CLASSES OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SAID SEVERAL ZONES, AND TH.E USES THEREOF" by
adding, thereto a new Section to be numbered Section 4, in three
public places in said city, to -wit: one in front of the West Covina
School',House, one at 1943 West State Highway, the same being the
place where the regular meetings of the City Council are held and
one at the'Northwest corner of Puente Street and Lark Ellen Blvd.
