FOR AGED AND IT: FIR11 PERSONS, AND ETC.
The City Council of the City of VIest Covina. do ordain
as f oliovis
Section 1. No person, firm, or corporation shall erect,
establish, mainta.in, or operate within the city limits of
the City of 'Ajest Covina any hospital for the sick; any home
•
for the aged, or infirm persons; any reform school or houses
of correction, or any institution of any cha.ra.cter., vwhatsoever,
for the aged or feeble minded or mentally deficient, or de-
pendant or delinquent persons.
Section 2. That any person, 'fir'M, or corporation violat-
ing any of the provision of this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall -be
punishable by a. fine of not Ile ss than five dollars ($,5.00 )
nor more 6han three hundred dollars (`-300.00), or by imprison-
ment for a period of not less than t.5jo (2) days not more than
three (3) months, or by both :such fine and imprisonment. Each
such person, firm, or corpora-tioYi. .sh311 be deemed guilt;Z7 of a
separate offense for each day during any portion of kghich any
violation of any provision or this ordinance is committed,
continued or perm!-U ted by such person, firm, or corporation,
and shall be punishable therefor as provided by this ordinance.
