ORDINANCE NO. 4-f
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR MMICIPAL
PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OY 1628-1929.
The City Council of the City of West Covina do
ordain as follows:
Section 1: That it is hereby declared and d-6termined
that the sum of 03 dill 'be required to pay

Section "J: That to order to raise the aforesaid

a tax for the fiscal year of 1928-1920 upon all property

forth, for the purpose of paying the cost and exl)ense of
iAaintiin*.'.ng the said City during the se.id fiscal year.
Section 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vilest
Covina s1iall certify to the passage of this ordinance and
cause thy; sar.ie to be posted in three public places in the
said city.

C. D. Wolfinger, being first duly sworn, says : That he is a
citizen of the United States and over the age of 21 years, the Clerk
of the City of Wes.t Covina, and that on the 28th day of August, 1928
he posted three copies of Ordinance No.41 entitled "an ordinance fix-
ing the tax rate for municipal purposes for the fiscal year of 1928-1929
in three public places in the said City, to -wit: One at the door of
the ,?hest Covina Club House, the same being the place where the meetings
of the Council of the said City are held, one on Sunset Avenue in front
of the West Covina School House and one at the north-west corner of
Puente Street and bark :Alen Bo

certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.41 was adopted by the Council
of the City of West Covina at a regular meeting of the said Council held
on the 22nd day of August, 1928, and signed by the Ifayor of said City
and that said Ordinance No.41 was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Coffman, Gloege, Watts and Yarnell.
