AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DUMPING OF JUNK OR
RUBBISH ON PRIVATE PROPERTY
The City Council of the City of West Covina Does
Ordain as Follows:
Sec. 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to r'durap" or deposit, or cause to be dumped or deposited any junk
such as tin cans, wire, old auto parts or any debris or waste
public or A_
material of any nature on any/private property within the limits
of the City of West Covina, even though the same be near A wash,
without first obtaining permission in writing from the owner of
said property.
Sec. 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be deeded guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a
fine of not less than $ ��� nor more than or by

the City Clerk of the City of best Covina, a citizen of the
United States and over the age of 21 years and that on the 23rd
day of May, 1928, he posted three copies of Ordinance No.37,
entitled an ordinance prohibiting the dumping of junk or rub-
bish on private propertyff in three public places in the said City,
to -wit: one at the door of the West Covina Club House the same
being the place where the meetings of the Council of the said City
are held, one on Sunset Avenue in front of the West Covina School
House and one at the northwest corner of Pue-otb, Street and Lark
Ellen Boulevard.

RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AND ORDERING
THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION ON THE 9th DAY OF APRIL, L988
IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA; FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ELECTING CERTAIN OFFICERS
OF THE SAID CITY.

1. That a general municipal election is hereby
called and shall be held in the City of West Covina on the
ninth day of April, 1928, for the election of the following
officers of the said city, to wit:
Two members of the City Council
One

Clerk

Treasurer
2. That for the purposes of holding the said general
municipal election hereby called, the voting precincts of the
said city shall be and are hereby consolidated into one voting
precinct, to wit: Vest Covina City Precinct No. 1 and West
_ Covina City Precinct No. 8 are hereby consolidated and shall
• be known as Consolidated Voting Precinct A. That the polling
. place thereof shall be at West Covina Club House, and the fol-
lowing named persons are hereby appointed and named as officers
of the said election. for the said precinct, to wit:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a general municipal
election has been called and will he held in the City of West
Covina on the 9th day of April, 1928, for the purpose of elect-
ing two trustees of the said city.
That for the purpose of holding the said election,
the voting precincts of the said city of West Covina have been
consolidated into one voting precinct, to wit: West Covina City
Precinct No. 1 and West Covina City Precinct tTo. 2 have been
consolidated and will be known as Consolidated Voting Precinct A.
