AN ORDINANCE FIXING TEE TAX RATE FOR hIUNICIPAL
PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 4,924 - 1925.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina do ordain as
follows:
Seation 1 : That it is hereb% 4eclared and determined that the
sum of $11,466.27 will be required,,the cost and expense of main-
taining the City of West Covina during the .fiscal year 1924-1925.
Section 2: That in order to raise the aforesaid sum there
shall be and is hereby levied on each one hundred dollars ($100.00)
of taxable property, exclusive of operative property, in the said
City of West Covina, a tax of forty-five cents ($,45).
Section 3: The city clerk of the City of West Covina shall
certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be
posted in three public places in the said city.

C. D. Wolfinger being first duly sworn, says: That he is the
City Clerk of the City of West Covina, is a. citizen of the United
States and over the age of twenty-one years that on the �e day of
August 192.4, he posted three copies of Ordinance No.22 of the City
of West Covina, entitled. If an ordnance fixing the tax rate for
municipal purposes for the fiscal year 1924-1925 in three public
places in the said city, to wit, one at the door of the West Covina
club house, the same being the place where the regular meetings of
the Board of Trustees of the said city are held, one on Sunset
Avenue in front of the Vilest Covina School Douse and one at the
northwest corner of Puente Avenue and Lark Ellen Boulevard.
