Ordinance - 6ORDINANCE NO. 6.
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTR11ENT
OF A SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Vilest Covina do
ordain as follows:
Section 1: That the office of Superintendent of Streets
of the City of Wiest Covina is hereby created.
Section 2: That the person who shall be appointed by
the board of trustees to fill the office of Marshal shall
also act as Superintendent of Streets.
Section 3: That the compensation of such Superintendent

of Streets shall be per day for the days upon which

he wo rks , and the additional sum of o 4- � per day for his
team when in use.
Section 4: That the Superintendent of Streets shall per --
form such duties as are or may hereafter be required by law
or by ordinance of the said city, or by direction of the
board of trustees of the said city.

CityClerk of the City of tiniest Covina, and is a cistzen of the
United States and over the age of twenty-one years; that on the 2y
day of he posted three copies of Ordinance No.6 en-
titled" n ordinance providing for the appointment of a superinten-
dent of streets" in three put places in the said- city to -wit,
one at the door of the West Covina. Club house, the same �aeing the
place where the regular meetings of the Board of Trustees of the
said city are held, one on Sunset Avenue in front of the crest
Covina School house and one at the north-west corner of Puente
Street and Lark Ellen Boulevard.
