Ordinance - 4S ORDINANCE NO. 4. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FAR THE COMMITI ENT TO THE COUNTY JAIL OF PERSONS HELD FOR TRIAL OR CONVICT- ED OF M-ISDEMEANOR. The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina do ordain as follows: Section 1: That all persons sentenced to imprisonment for violation of any ordinance of the City of West Covina shall be committed to and.imprisoned in the County Jail of the County of Los Angeles. Section 2: That any person who is under arrest charged with violating any ordinance of the said city may, before con- viction, unless released on bail, be committed to the custody of the Sheriff of the County of Los Angeles and c onf ined in the County Jail of the said county, except during such times as it may be necessary for such person to attend court.upon such charge. Section 3: That the expense of the imprisonment of all persons committed to or imprisoned in the county jail of the said county pursuant to the provisions of this. ordinance shall be a charge..in favor of the County of Los Angeles.an d against the said City of West Covina, and shall be paid by the said city. 21 r President of the Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina.
