AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR
MUNICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1923-24.
• The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina do
• _j ordain as follows:
Section l: That it is hereby declared and determined
that the sum of 10 / 3 will be required to pay the cost
and expense of maintaining the City of Widest Covina during the
fiscal year 1923-24.
Section 2: That in order to raise the aforesaid sum
there shall be and is hereby levied on each one hundred dollars
($100.00) of taxable property, exclusive of operative property,
in the said City of West Covina, a tax of fifty cents ($.50).
Section 3: The city clerk of the City of G`vest Covina
shall certify to the passage of this cr dinance and cause the same
• to be posted in three public places in the said city.
