ORDINANCE NO. 14 .
AN ORDINANCE REGULLTING THE USE 0-7 CERTAIN

The board of trustees of the City of West Covina
do ordain as follows:
Section 1: It shall be unlawful for arty person to drive
or operate any motor vehicle or other vehicle upon, over or along
the following described portions of the following named public
streets or highways of the City of Vilest Covina, if the total weight
of the load carried by such vehicle shall exceed ten thousand (10,000)
pounds, to wit:
AZUSA AVENUE, from the northerly city limits to the southerly
city limits;
LARK ELILM AVENUE, from the northerly city limits to the southerly
city limits; .
GLENDORA AVENUE, from Arroyo Avenue to the southerly city limits;
SUNSET AVENUE, from Arroyo Avenue to the southerly city limits;
ORANGE AVENUE, from the northerly city limits to the southerly city
limits;
WILLOTJ A7MUE, from Pacific Avenue to the southerly city limits;
IRYfINDALE AVENUE, from Arroyo Avenue to the northerly city limits;
PUENTE AVENUE, from Irwindale Avenue to the easterly city limits;
�ROWLAND AVENUE (or Double Avenue) , from Vincent Avenue to the
easterly city limits;
U'V'� ARROYO A�FENUE, from Orange Avenue to the southerly prolongation of
the westerly line of Vincent Avenue;
('U'ROYC AITINUE 0 from the northeasterly prolongation of the south-
easterly line of California Avenue to the easterly
city limits;
Ciu- MRION E'VENUE, from Glendora Avenue: to the easterly city limits;
VINE .AVZUE, from Glendora Avenue. to the easterly city limits;

( 114ERCED AVENUE, from Glendora Avenue to the westerly city limits.
Section 2: It shall be unlawful fcr any person to drive
or operate any motor vehicle or other vehicle upon, over or along
any of those portions of the public highways described in Section
1 of this ordinance, having attached thereto a trailer, if the
combined weight of the loads carried by such vehicle and trailer
shall exceed ten thousand (10,000) pounds.
• Section 3;, Any person violating any of the provisions
• of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding
two
hundred dollars
(200.00),
or by
imprisonment 2).r a

(60) days,
or by
both such fine and
imprison-
ment.

he is the city clerk of the City of West Covina, and is a citizen
of the Ux�,ed States and�er the age of twenty-one years; that
on the �day of 1923, he posted three copies
of Ordinance No. 14 of the City of West Covina, entitled "An
Ordinance Regulating the Use of Certain Highways" in three public
places in the said city, to wit, one at the door of the nest Covina
Club House, the same being the place where the regular meetings
of the board of trustees of the said city are held, one on Sunset
Avenue in front of the 'West. Covina School House, and one at the
northwest corner of Puente Street and Lark --Allen Boulevard.
