AN ORDINANCE A.UTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
OBTAIN FROld THE COUNTY ASSESSOR A CERTIFIED
CADPY OF THE ASSES S10EN T- BOOK.
The board of trustees of the City of 1ATest Covina
do ordain as follows:
Section 1: That the city clerk be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to request in writing the county assessor
to furnish to the City of 'guest Covina a certified copy of his
assessment -book, so Sr as such assessment -book pertains to.property
within the limits of the said city, and also a description of all
personal property within the said city, and the names and addresses
of the oaners, and the assessed value thereof, whenever the tag
on such personal property is collected by the assessor.

he is the city clerk of the City of West Covina, and is a
citizen of the United,,S es and ver the age of twenty-one
years; that on the ✓day of 1923, he .posted three
copies of Ordinance +two. 12 of the City of `,-lest Covina, entitled
"An Ordinance Authorizing the City Clerk to Obtain from the
County Assessor a Certified copy of the Assessment -Book" in.
three public places in the said city, to wit, one at the door
of the West Covina Club House, the same being the place where
the regular meetings of the board of trustees of the said city
are held, one on Sunset Avenue in front of the West Covina
School House, and one at the northwest c ner of Puente Street
and Lark Ellen Boulevard.
