SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
November 10, 2014
Mayor Herfert called to order the special meeting of the West Covina City Council at 6:20 p.m. in the
City Hall Council Chambers, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION ORDINANCES — STUDY SESSION
City Attorney's Office
Review of West Covina Municipal Code, Sections 2-400 to
1) 2-405 Concerning Campaign Contributions
Campaign Contribution Ordinances Study Session discussion was lead by Deputy City Attorney Ivy
Tsai. Discussion ensued regarding the current local ordinances
regarding campaign contribution provisions and possible changes
to the current two ordinances.
Following discussion, the City Attorney's Office was
directed to bring back draft language for modification to the
existing ordinances.
RECESS Motion by Sykes and seconded by Toma to recession the special
meeting at 7:36 p.m. in order for the City Council to reconvene in
the City Manager's Conference Room to discuss closed session
items.
CLOSED SESSION — CITY MANAGER'S CONFERENCE ROOM
Other present:
The City Council reconvened the special meeting at 7:40 p.m. with
all members present except Councilmember Warshaw.
