SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
December 17, 2013
Mayor Herfert called to order the special meeting of the West Covina City Council at 5:39 p.m. in the
City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

Craig Cook Craig Cook, representing WC Homes LLC., distributed a letter and spoke
on the Coalition for Land Use Equity v. City of West Covina litigation.
Curtis Newman Curtis Newman, representing Genesis Motors spoke on the Hassen
Imports Partnership litigation.
Ziad Alhassen Ziad Alhassen, Tarik Alhassen and Susan Montgomery, all

Recess Mayor Herfert recessed the Special City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. to
convene the Regular Council meeting in the Council Chambers.
ADJOURNMENT At 7:21 p.m. during the Regular City Council meeting, motion by Spence
and seconded by Sykes to adjourn the Special City Council meeting to an
adjourned Special City Council meeting on Thursday, December 19, 2013
at 5:00 p.m. in the City Manager's Conference Room for the purpose of
continuing discussion regarding the Hassen Imports Partnership matter,
Real Property Negotiations at 2100 East Shadow Oak Drive, and the
Coalition for Land Use Equity v. City of West Covina matter.
