Mayor Pro Tem Herfert called to order the special meeting of the West Covina City Council at 6:08 p.m.
in the City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Sanderson (arrived at 6:16 p.m.), Mayor Pro Tem Herfert
Councilmembers Sotelo, Sykes
Others Present: Chung, Bachman, Lee, Alvarez-Glasman, D. King
PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA
Lloyd Johnson Lloyd Johnson, West Covina resident, stated the City should not
,move forward with the project.
Carolyn Arndt Carolyn Arndt, West Covina resident spoke in opposition to the
project.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Sanderson commenced the closed session at 6:22 p.m. to
discuss the following matter:

EXISTING LITIGATION
Pursuant to Government Code �54956.9(a)
West Covina Improvement Association vs. City of West Covina, et al.
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Sanderson adjourned the special meeting at 6:32 p.m. to
Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Manager's
Conference Room.
