REGULAR MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
November 3, 2009
Mayor Hernandez called to order the regular meeting of the West Covina City Council at 7:09 p.m. in
the City Hall Council Chambers, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Olga Lepe Olga Lepe, West Covina resident, requested consideration to
relocate her catering truck to her previous location and had
questions regarding her license.
Mayor Hernandez requested staff to look into this matter.
City Manager Pasmant mentioned the matter was under
administrative appeal.
Bill Hosn Bill Hosn, West Covina resident, spoke on issues with his catering
truck not being open during school hours and safety provided by
the presence of business during evening hours.
MAYOR'S/COUNCILMEMBERS REPORTS
Mayor Roger Hernandez Request for an Update on Senior Villas 11
H-1 Senior Housing Project
Senior Villas Il Housing Project Councilmember Touhey inquired as to whether the provided
update was the same update previously provided to the Council.
Mayor Hernandez stated his request was for a public update.
Motion by Herfert and seconded by Sanderson to receive
and file the report.
Mayor Hernandez requested an investigation into
compliance with the Fire codes on the project after stating that he
has heard codes are being violated.
Council discussion ensued with City Manager Pasmant
stating that staff will follow up on the Mayor's request.
Motion Motion to receive and file carried by 5 — 0.

ADJOURNMENT Motion by Sanderson and seconded by Lane to adjourn the City
Council meeting at 7:26 p.m. Motion carried by 5 — 0.
