SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
June 6, 2006
Mayor Herfert called to order the special meeting of the West Covina City Council at 6:20 p.m. in the
City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

Councilmembers Hernandez, Lane, Sanderson
Others Present: Pasmant, Alvarez-Glasman, Fields, Stephen T. Owens

CLOSED SESSION Mayor Herfert commenced the closed session at 6:25 p.m. to
discuss the following matters:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL —
EXISTING LITIGATION
Pursuant to Government Code & 54956(a)
City of West Covina and West Covina Community Development
Commission vs. Hassen Imports Partnership, Et al.
City Council recessed from closed session at 6:32 and relocated to
the Emergency Operations Center in the Police Department
basement.
OPEN SESSION REVIEW OF EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER (EOC)
The City Council reconvened in the Emergency Operations Center
for a review of the facility from Fire Captain Jim Rudroff. All
members were present with the exception of Councilmember
Hernandez.
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Herfert adjourned the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
