WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 26, 2002
Mayor Touhey called to order the special meeting of the West Covina City Council at 5:51 pm in the
City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Touhey, Mayor Pro Tern Herfert, and Councilmembers:
Miller, Sanderson
Absent: Councilmember Wong
Others Present: Pasmant, Fields, Alvarez-Glasman, Adams, Tedesco, Houston

POLICE TRAINING CENTER GRANT APPLICATION
Council reviewed the staff report. Motion by Miller and seconded by Herfert to authorize the
Mayor, City Manager and City staff to complete the relevant grant application paperwork for the
Regional Law Enforcement Training Center (RLETC) grant. Motion carried 4-0.

The closed session concluded at 6:30 pm.
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Touhey adjourned the meeting at 6:30 pm. Those Councilmembers
interested in attending a community meeting regarding the Parole Office
on Badillo Street left for the scheduled 7:00 pm meeting at Monte Vista
Elementary School, 1615 W. Eldred Avenue, West Covina.
