SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
December 4, 2001
Mayor Wong called to order the special meeting of the West Covina City Council at 5:45 pm in the City
Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Wong, Mayor Pro Tem Touhey, Councilmembers Herfert,
Miller, Sanderson
Others Present: Pasmant, Alvarez-Glasman, Fields, Greene, Adams
PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Wong commenced the closed session at 5:45 pm to
consider the following matters:
CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR: Adams
Pursuant to Government Code § 54957.6
* West Covina Firefiighter's Association
* West Covina Police Officers' Association
* West Covina Police Management Association
CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS
Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.8
Property: 811 S. Sunset Avenue
Negotiators: Alvarez-Glasman, Pasmant
Under Negotiations: Price and/or terms of payment
Recess Mayor Wong recessed the City Council special meeting at 6:20 pm
to convene the special meeting of the Redevelopment Agency. At
7:40 pm Mayor Wong reconvened the special meeting in the
Council Chambers conference room to consider the one remaining
item on the special meeting agenda:

Johnson vs City of West Covina
The closed session concluded at 7:50 pm.
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Wong adjourned the closed session meeting at 7:50 pm, at
which time the City Council resumed their seats at the Council
table in the Council Chambers to continue with the regularly
scheduled Council meeting.
