SPECIAL MEETING
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
JULY 17, 200 t
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order at 6:05 pm in the City
Manager's Conference Room, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Pro Tern Touhey, Councilmembers Herfert, Miller,
Sanderson
Absent: Mayor Wong
Others Present: Chung, Alvarez-Glasman, Fields
PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA
Lollie Bergman Lollie Bergman, 847 Wescove Place, encouraged the City Council
not to discontinue the Visioning Program.
Sam Geneway Visioning Program consultant Sam Geneway answered Council
questions and responded to comments.
Joyce Brooks Joyce Brooks, representing the California Teachers Association,
spoke favorably of continuing the Visioning Program.
CONSIDERATION OF CITY'S CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE WEST COVINA
VISIONING PROGRAM FOR 2020
Council briefly discussed the continuance of the West Covina
Visioning Program and decided to continue with the program.
