SPECIAL MEETING
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
JULY 17, 2001
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order at 6:55 pm in the City
Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Pro Tern Touhey, Councilmembers Herfert, Miller,
Sanderson
Others Present: Chung, Alvarez-Glasman, Fields, Yauchzee, McIsaac, Fox,

PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA
La Donna Davis La Donna Davis, 616 N. Vincent Avenue, addressed the case of
Davis' vs City of West Covina and City of West Covina vs Davis.
Jean Grabowski Jean Grabowski, incoming President of the West Covina Chamber
of Commerce, spoke on behalf of the Executive Board of the
Chamber of Commerce regarding the building rental agreement
between the Chamber and the City.
Roberta Wile Roberta Wile, outgoing President of the West Covina Chamber of
Commerce, addressed Council on the same topic.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Pro Tern Touhey commenced the closed session at 7:15 pm
to discuss the following matters:

City Council reconvened at 10:12 pm to conclude the closed
session with all members present, except Mayor Wong. The
following staff members were also present: Chung, Fields,
Alvarez-Glasman.
Mayor Pro Tern Touhey adjourned the special meeting at midnight.
