MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
DULY 3, 2001
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order by Mayor Wong at 6:15 pm in
the City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina, CA.
ROLL CALL Mayor Wong, Mayor Pro Tern Touhey, Councilmember Herfert,
Miller, Sanderson
Others Present: Chung, Fields, Nichols, Wills, Greene, Fox
PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Wong commenced the closed session at 6:15 pm to discuss
the following listed matters. Mayor Wong questioned the
appropriateness of discussing West Covina Service Group issues
during closed session and did not participate in discussions
regarding this issue.

Recess The City Council did not conclude the closed session items.
Mayor Wong recessed the City Council at 7:00 pm to convene the
Redevelopment Agency closed session, which concluded at 7:35
ADJOURNMENT

Upon conclusion of the regular City Council meeting at
12:55 am, Mayor Wong reconvened the City Council closed
session meeting. All Councilmembers were present except
Councilmember Herfert who left earlier in the evening at 11:30
pm. Acting City Manager Chung and Assistant City Manager
Fields were in attendance at the continued closed session.
Mayor Wong adjourned the meeting at 1:12 am.
