SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
MAY 1, 2001
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order by Mayor Wong at 6:12 pm in
the City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Wong, Mayor Pro Tem Touhey (arrived at 7:35 pm),
Councilmembers: Herfert, Miller, Sanderson

CLOSED SESSION Mayor Wong commenced the closed session at 6:12 pm to discuss

AWARD OF CONTRACT — MANAGEMENT RECRUITMENT FIRM
City Attorney Alvarez-Glasman reported out from the closed
session that the City Council has chosen the firm of DMG
Maximus to conduct the recruitment for a City Manager.
