The special meeting was called to order by Mayor Wong at 5:10 pm in the City Manager's Office at
City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Wong, Mayor Pro Tern Touhey, Councilmembers: Herfert, Miller,
Sanderson
Others Present: Alvarez-Glasman, Chung (arrived at 5:50 pm)
PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Wong commenced the closed session at 5:10 pm to discuss the
following matter:
CONFERENCE RE PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT/APPOINTMENT
Pursuant to Government Code § 54957
Title: City Manager
Title: City Manager Pro Tempore
The closed session concluded at 6:06 pm and the following motion was
made:
Chris Chung named Motion by Touhey and seconded by Miller to appoint Chris Chung
Acting City Manager as the Acting City Manager. Motion carried 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT Mayor Wong adjourned the meeting at 6:07 pm.
