The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order at 6:20 pm by Mayor Herfert
in the City Manager's Conference Room, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

Mayor Herfert commenced closed session at 6:20 pm for the
following purposes:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL —
POTENTIAL LITIGATION
Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(b�:
Two cases.
Although the following conference was scheduled on the agenda, it
became apparent that a discussion with the labor negotiators could
not take place because there were two other associations that
needed to be included. The matter was held over and rescheduled
for the next closed session on October 3, 2000.
