SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
April 20, 2000
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order by Mayor Howard at 6:10 pm
in the Management Resource Center at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Herfert, Mayor Pro Tern Wong, Councilmembers Howard,
Melendez, Touhey
Others Present: Hobbs, Berry, Mayer, Blaylock
PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Herfert recessed the meeting at 6:10 pm to commence a
closed session in the City Manager's Conference Room to discuss
the following matter:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL —
EXISTING LITIGATION
Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(a)
* City of West Covina vs Mr. and Mrs. Davis
Recess Mayor Herfert recessed the closed session at 7:05 pm to convene a
scheduled study session in the Management Resource Center. At
8:45 pm, Mayor Herfert reconvened the closed session in the City
Manager's Conference Room to continue the above -noted
discussion. The closed session concluded at 9:25 pm.
ADJOURNMENT

Mayor Herfert adjourned the special meeting at 9:25 pm. Council
returned to the Management Resource Center to continue the study
session.
