SPECIAL MEETING
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 3,1999
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order by Mayor Howard at 6:35 pm
in the City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Howard, Mayor Pro Tem Melendez, Councilmembers:
Herfert, Touhey, Wong.
Others Present: Hobbs, Fields, Lee, Collier, Mayer

CLOSED SESSION Mayor Howard commenced the closed session at 6:35 pm to
consider the following matter:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL —
MaSTING LITIGATION
Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(a)
Sully -Miller Contracting Company vs City of West Covina
Recess Mayor Howard called a recess at 7:05 pm to convened the special
meeting of the Redevelopment Agency. The City Council recon-
vened its special meeting at 7:32 pm to consider the second closed
session item. All members of the City Council were present and
staff members present were City Manager Hobbs and Assistant
City Manager Fields.

Motion by Herfert and seconded by Touhey to adjourn the meeting
