WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
MARCH 24, 1999
The City Council of the City of West Covina was called to order by Mayor Howard at 8:00 am in the
City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Howard, Councilmembers Herfert, Wong
Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Melendez, Councilmember Touhey
Others Present: Hobbs, Fields, Mayer, Bommarito, Samaniego
Supervisor Michael Antonovich, Mohajer, Vonnatta, Homez, Kelly

Council discussed the following items of mutual concern with
Supervisor Antonovich:
* Amar Road and Nogales Street rehabilitation.
* Azusa/Amar Future Expansion.
* Funding Source for Park-n-Ride.
* San Bernardino (10) Freeway Funding. .
* AB 1481 — Solid Waste Landfills.
* BKK Landfill.
Motion by Wong and seconded by Howard to adjourn the meeting
at 9:10 am. Motion carried 3-0.
