SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
NOVEMBER 17, 1998
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order by Mayor Melendez at 6:15
pm in the City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

Others Present: Hobbs, Collier, Francis, Shinnerer, Millard, Lawrence, Martyn

City Manager Hobbs explained that a meet and confer item has
arisen since the preparation of the Agenda regarding the West
Covina Police Officers' Association. In order for the City Council
to consider the matter, it would need to be added by a vote of the
Council.
Motion by Howard and seconded by Touhey to add the
item to the closed session topics of discussion. Motion carried 5-0.
Mayor Melendez commenced the closed session at 6:18 pm to
consider the following items, including the additional one:

Motion by Herfert and seconded Jby Touhey to adjourn the meeting
at 7:20 pm. Motion carried 5-0.
Mayor Richard
