WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 9, 1998
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order by Mayor Melendez at
5:10 pm at the Villa Tepeyac Restaurant in West Covina, located at 2200 E. Garvey Avenue
South.

Councilmembers Howard, Touhey, Wong

PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Melendez commenced the closed session at 5:10 pm
to interview the two final candidates for the position of City
Manager:
PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT
Pursuant to Government Code § 54957
The closed session concluded at 7:50 pm.
ADJOURNMENT Motion by Herfert and sec nded by Howard to adjourn the
meeting at 7:50 pm. Mot& carried 5-0.
