SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
June 6, 1998
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order by Mayor Melendez at 8:30
am in the Fourth Floor Conference Room at First Federal Savings and Loan Association of San Gabriel
Valley, 225 N. Barranca Street, West Covina.

Howard, Touhey, Wong
Others Present: Murray, Galvez
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Melendez commenced the closed session at 8:30 am for
Council to interview candidates for the position of City Manager:
PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT
Pursuant to Government Code & 54957
Recess Mayor Melendez called a recess at 9:30 am. The City Council
attended the Philippine Independence Centennial Celebration at the
Seafood City Supermarket at the corner of Amar and Azusa. The
City Council reconvened at First Federal at 11:30 am with all
members present.
ADJOURNMENT
