SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
MAY 13, 1997
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council, scheduled for 6:00 pm, was called to order by Mayor
Wong at 8:45 pm in the City Manager's Conference Room, City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Wong, Mayor Pro Tern Melendez, Councilmembers Herfert,
Howard, Touhey
Others Present: Starbird, Wylie, Collier, Martyn

CLOSED SESSION Mayor Wong commenced the closed session at 8:45 pm to discuss the
following matter:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL -
ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(b): One case
The closed session concluded at 11:30 pm
ADJOURNMENT Motion by Herfert and seconded by Howard to adjourn the meeting at
11:30 pm. Motion carried 5-0.
